Do not send keys through unsecured messages, include them in public code repositories, or expose them in browser-side application code.

Generate strong random secret keys, passwords, tokens, and application credentials securely in your browser.
Your keys are created locally in your browser using the Web Crypto API. VisionHub does not receive, save, log, or transmit the generated value. No generated value is included in analytics or session recordings.
Do not send keys through unsecured messages, include them in public code repositories, or expose them in browser-side application code.
Store production secrets in an approved password manager or secrets-management system. Do not hardcode secrets directly into your website’s public source code.
This tool generates random secret strings. It does not generate provider-issued API credentials, SSL certificates, SSH key pairs, cryptocurrency private keys, or other specialized credentials. A random string can serve as an application secret, but it cannot replace a credential that must be issued by a provider such as Stripe, Google, or Microsoft.
A secret key is a random value applications use to protect sessions, sign information, authenticate requests, or secure integrations. A strong key should be unpredictable, private, and generated with a cryptographically secure source.
For most application secrets, a 256-bit key is a strong default. Always follow the requirements of the platform or software where the key will be used.
No. The generator runs entirely in your browser using the Web Crypto API. VisionHub never receives or stores the generated value, and no value is included in analytics or logs.
You can use it for systems that allow you to create your own shared secret. If a service such as Stripe, Google, or Microsoft issues its own credentials, you must obtain those credentials directly from that provider.
No. VisionHub does not save generated keys. Copy and store the key securely in a trusted password manager before leaving the page.
